Refund Policy

Please choose your items carefully. We do not give refunds or exchanges if you simply change your mind or make a wrong decision.
As a customer, you can choose between a refund or exchange where the umbrella frame is faulty, or the goods have been wrongly described on the umbrellas.com.au website, or the product received is different to the actual product purchased on the website.
umbrellas.com.au (Clifton Australia) offers an additional one month frame fault warranty from the date of purchase on ALL umbrellas – in addition to the frame guarantee from the manufacturer. Wind damage, misuse, or accidental damage does not constitute a faulty frame.
umbrellas.com.au also offers refunds or exchanges within 48 hours of signed deliveries, if the item has been damaged in transit.
Prior to return, the customer should e-mail sales@cliftonaustralia.com a digital photo of the umbrella highlighting the fault. This digital image is required to determine the correct manufacturer of your purchase. In doing so, umbrellas.com.au and the manufacturer will be notified of the issue. Please indicate whether a refund or exchange is sought and we shall be in contact to arrange, as required.
On approval that the frame had a fault or that the product in question; has been wrongly described on the website; the product was not item purchased; or was damaged in transport, Clifton Australia (sales@cliftonaustralia.com) will e-mail you with an approval confirmation.

Clifton Australia Pty Ltd will then either (based on your preference) reverse to your credit card (used in the original purchase) the amount paid for the umbrella (including the original shipping and handling cost) or alternatively (again based on your preference) issue to you a mutually agreed replacement umbrella (of equal or lower value) to be sent to your address at no additional shipping & handling cost.
